i miss you Moon
:-)
truth is the less time you spend time in the internet
the more time you'd enjoy the simplicity of everyday's life
reading books, cooking, walking, enjoying nature, meeting up with friends & loved-ones..
the internet ought to be an outlet, not someone's mean of happiness..
if you were near me, i sure would like to take you to the beaches of Bermuda..
have a tan & surf.....
:-)

First I cry :p I'm usually on the computer anyway, I just do the things that don't require the Internet...I delete things not wanted anymore and burn some songs on CD to play... I have found many things to do when I don't have Internet. (It goes out quite often)
Then when I'm bored with that, I Read a lot of books, listen to a lot of music... get out and walk enjoy the day if its not tooo hot.
I even try to take my dog outside since she has a hard time walking, she doesn't get to go outside as much a she used to.
I have done with out my Internet for days at a time, once it was a full week, then almost a full month. I checked it regularly to see if it had came back on yet.
If all else fails, I went to the library and used their computer for a while.
**added** But the thing that I actually accomplish more than anything, is get the rest that I should be getting, or at least more than I normally do. ;)
Great question, Moon! Take care and it's good to see you are back!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hope this helps.. :)

I didn't have the internet for like 7 months about 2 yrs ago. First I lived with this old lady and she didn't have the net, then I lived back home. There was internet there, but my Lap Top was a piece of junk, so I hated using it.
Lets just say I watched a lot of movies, TV and talked on the phone. I'd miss it now, but once you don't have it for awhile you get used to it. I'd actually like to give it up for awhile, but I'm part of this Street Team for a local band and they communicate a lot through Myspace, facebook, and their msg board. Sooo, it doesn't look like I am going anywhere anytime soon ;)

If my internet were to go out at home, I'd call the provider and get it working again ASAP! Then, I'd do all those pesky chores and such that sit neglected as I "play". . . You know, laundry that has piled up, dishes that have sat there longer than they should, etc. After throwing a load of laundry in the washer, and a load of dishes in the dishwasher, I'd head down to our library, where I can get on for an hour a day, and get my fix!
However, if it's like my past week, where we were gone camping, I'd try to distract myself with other stuff!

Write music, practice my instruments, watch movies, go out with my wife, same thing I do when I have internet. Internet hardly runs my life. I have tinnitus and often have trouble getting to sleep. I also have bad days where I don't really want to move around a lot. The internet provides fertile soil for my mind when I am otherwise incapacitated.

Hasn't happened yet. Most importantly I would spend time with my daughter. When she goes to bed, I might actually try to find something constructive to do, like finish reading the book I started a few days ago or get my planning up to date for school (wait till the DOE pitches up and asks for that!)
I hope you will be back online soon as well.

I'm wondering, if you don't have the internet, how did you post this question and how are you going to read the answers?
I have never been without internet for many days - only a few here and there, and to be honest, its not easy for me. Ive forgotten how to live without it.

Welcome back, Moon!
I had that earlier this year, as my house was still not wired with telephone and tv cables.. We went without TV and internet for almost 2 months! They have to schedule with the authorities to dig the road just to lay cables!
I baked and read, and unpack during those days.
