Fujitsu is a really good brand and i do recommend that..The processor speed is good enough since it's a Core 2 Duo but the harddisk is abit too small..Don't worry about that..you can always get an external harddisk that can be plug in to the USB port and works like a normal harddisk. 512 RAM is abit too little. My guess is that the laptop would come with the Vista OS? If it does then i think at least a 1GB RAM will ensure that the laptop runs smoothly. With that high processing power and using a 512 RAM wont be able to utilize it fully so you are just gonna waste some of your processor speed..

Fujitsu is a well known co.Fujitsu laptop wth intel core 2 duo is a good choice but you should keep in mind the RAM space. You should ask for 1 GB ram space so that you can install Vista in your laptop. Ensure that your Ram and disk space is sufficient for proper and fast functioning.

You need ALOT more RAM, so if this is a special bargain, consider getting more RAM right away. You did not say which model Fujitsu, so you have to look up HOW MUCH more that will take at http://www.coastmemory.com
Windows Vista will work well if you get 2GB of RAM. It will be JUST OK, if you get only 1GB. But if you do not get more RAM, it will just plain SUCK. So get 2GB.
You see, a 2GB module through Coast Memory might cost just $125 more; and this upgrade will be what you need at the end of the computer's life.
You see, when Windows XP came out in 2002, they said you only needed 128MB of RAM. But today, Windows XP sucks unless you have 512MB of RAM. That means that you NEED four times more RAM than what they said. So get the 2GB.
You see, when Windows 98 came out in 1998, they said that you only need 32MB of RAM. But by 2000, if you didn't have 128MB of RAM, it sucked. Again, that is a factor of FOUR TIMES.
So if you are getting Windows Vista, GET the 2GB of RAM now, or suffer the consequences.
Good luck and Happy Computing!
