IQ is roughly calculated using a mean (average) of 100 by the formula:
100 x mental age divided by chronological age.

Therefore the average IQ for any person of any age is 100.

Before anyone gets too technical, there are deviations applied, but as a general guide, the above holds true.

I was going to say between 100 and 120 but then I saw on the news this girl from the UK (only about 20 miles from where I am now) who has been accepted into MENSA. She's aged 2 !!!!! Her estimated IQ is 152, I know this is obviously mad and probably innaccurate but it shows one of two things...a) her parents fed her special brain food or b) Brits are smarter than anyone else :)

By definition, the average IQ is 100. Age is irrelevant.

I am 22 and have an IQ of 136. So my guess is around 110-120

Anywhere from 90-110 is considered average for an adult so I guess 100 would be the most average

Hmm after reading your profile , just to see if you are american, in which case any score should be halved, (lets call it ignorance tax) its around 80 - 100 , but drops to ten when watching liverpool play

i'm not sure i think around a 100 is average although i have no idea as to how people can measure intellect with a silly questionaire.
