IF dragons were real they would be the same...both are in the lizard family. I think dragons were based on dinosaurs.

Neither...dragons are mythical creatures from the Medieval Time period where as dinosaurs are actual creatures that roamed the earth more than 65+ millions years ago.

dinosaurs have fosils and actualy existed, dragons have no evidence to prove they ever existed at all [as in the winged flying fire breathing veriety] but their are dragons about today called comodo dragons.

they aren't the same thing. they are both lizard-ish but one was real and the other was a mde up thing.
