You think someone is totally hot before you knew them. But as you gradually find out that their character and attitude are not that great, you can't seem to understand why you thought they were hot before.

Yes. and by the same token, some people seem really ugly in the beginning. And as you get to know them they become beautiful.
Judge by the inside not the outside.

The reverse is also true. You can get to know someone who isn't really that attractive at first, but their personality and charm makes them more and more beautiful as time goes by!

you think they'll be nice, etc but they're not.
it happens to the best of us. you just need to be a better judge of character which comes with age.

yep. i think we all have at least once.
and the reason we don't like them anymore is because we found someone else with a good persona and looks decent.

That's happened to me many times. It's my fault, because I shouldn't have judged them based on their looks.
