I was wondering everyone's opinions on this. Even if they didn't start their careers this year, but those who's music has been exeptionally good and well known. I say the five best, in my opinion, are Mika, Amy Winehouse, Paolo Nutini, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and the Klaxons.

100% agree with Paolo Nutini. Cant get enough of him. Saw him live at Hammersmith Apollo and he was brilliant. Very unique performer. Just watched him at Glastonbury on TV and again- superb!
I also like Mika and Amy Winehouse. Havent heard much from the Klaxons but I will probably have a listen to more from them.
