Did anyone watch the footage of Kate and Gerry on the news today? They seem so calm about the fact their daughter has been missing for 50 days now. I know there has been loads of questions and answers about these people on YA, but something just doesn't seem right. We can't expect to see them bawling their eyes out everytime they are on camera, but some emotion surely would have the general public empathising with them???

I have no time for them as for the possible sightings I would be off to malta like a shot and if I was the tourist I would have tried my hardest to get pics of the child and the person she was with

This whole thing started off strange and now it is even more strange, fishy, sick etc................. and all because of a stupid mistake they made. A mistake that should never have happened. How long more is this going to go on? When she is missing 100 days will they be doing something else? They only time they will be bawling their eyes out is when the money runs out and the media dries up. Lets hope Madeleine is found before then.

Something is up. it isnt right that yes everytime you see them they dont look like they are in a frantic search for the little one, they have more time for the press too take pictures of them and there 2 remaining twins. I mean yes get it in the papers anything too help the search but walking hand in hand on the beach when you could be searching and asking questions on every bloody doorstep is out of order.
If they have genuinly lost there baby then i do really and truly feel for all of them.
If it was me i would be too distraught too talk too the papers and think i would need a spokesman. but i would sleep till i found her i certinaly wouldnt be posing for papers
i hope she is found soon.....

They are to wrapped up in their own self-importance and moneymaking schemes to worry about a little girl they bought into this world,unless they know she is safe which like myself and many others are starting to believe.When is someone going to say Enough is Enough?these are milking the public for every penny but people can only give so much,when are they going to stop?
They are enjoying the "celebrity lifestyle"they have made for themselves and they are making a joke of everyone.
Its gone to far now all people want is maddie home and safe i for one am not bothered about gerry and kate it isn,t about them its about finding the scum who have her and bringing her home which is what its always been about.
Go home gerry and kate and be a proper mum and dad to your other 2 children and give them the life they deserve because right now your not,they have lost a sister to don,t you think they need comfort and love to?let the police and authoritys do their job properly because you are getting in the way.

I don't understand why they weren't on the first flight to Malta. Even if the sightings are not of Madeleine you would think they would leave 'no stone unturned' to find out one way or another. Nothing about this case seems normal or natural.
I also find it extraordinary that they let so many people into the crime scene. I would have thought that doctors would have more knowledge of forensics than the rest of us.

i agree their is something suspect bout all this and the public circus they are making out of this i have a two year old girl and would not even dream of being that neglectfull and if anything like ever happened i would be to ashamed to face the media not that i would get the chance cause the authorities would have me banged up for that this is why i am so annoyed at them they neglected their child and are being treated as victims

Yes, I completly agree with you, I think there is something really fishy going on there! Another thing I just can't get out of my head is "Why did they let 22 people into a crime scene"? All the evidence that was there was contaminated...and with these been educated people they should have known that! Or maybe that's what they wanted...Personally I think that the parents know where Maddie is & it's time to end this circus!

I am not answering any more questions on this situation.I am unsure of this couples tactics. They won't be independent and act of their own accord.They expect everyone else to sort out their problems.If they had followed the basic guidelines of Parenting it would have been okay.But they are full of pain and self-recrimmination.Can anyone really help them now ?Their emotional state is nothing compared to that of their daughters.Is Madeleine fearful,sad,in pain,starved,beaten black and blue,alive ?Her parents would do well to worry they caused this through neglect,.

I have not seen any emotion from them since the first day she went missing i don t know why people are so dismisive of something a bit dodgy going on there has been alot of cases of missing children with the parents knowing more then they claim

i agree if i was them i would of come home to be with family to get support, i would be an emotional wreck and most likely on depression mediaction losing a child like that would kill me, i would be searching my self day and night until i literally fell down on the ground a sleep
