I'm looking to replace the pcv valve on my 1993 Ford Ranger. It's a 4-cylinder, but has 2 distributors and 8 spark plugs (Ford's answer to fuel economy).

My book says it's on the left side of the engine in the oil separator. What's an oil separator? Is the left side of the engine the passenger side?

Thanks,
Sean

I had a 90 ranger with the same set up great truck.Standing on the drivers side of the truck look at the rear top of the valve cover behind the intake. It's just a peice of plastic sticking out of the cover with one or two vacum lines running to it.Take of the lines and the valve should pull right out of the rubber grommet

Look for the emission decal located on the rad shell. Trace the hose. Check on the rear of the valve cover.
