I think women like all the same cars as men like, but some types more than others. Young singles like sporty, fun cars and buy what they can afford, be it a Golf convertible to a Lamborghini. Mothers with children like large 4 dr cars with cargo space or SUV's because they feel safer and are easier to load and unload. Few like pickups or military style vehicles because they are not ladylike. My wife loves the Hyundai Tucson she got for her anniversary.

I would like to have a Road Runner or Challenger or Charger (MOPAR head alert!) . . . Even a 1979 Dodge L'il Red Truck is nice. Right now I'm pleased with the car I am having to drive - 2005 Chevy Malibu - especially with the gas prices!
I would think a gal would drive whatever suited her fancy! ;)

MUMOFTHREE should look at euroncap.com, and feel secure that her KA is a 4**** star car and very good, much safer in fact than the latest Chrysler 7 seater or the old LandRover discovery.
Generally they like small cars they can see over the bonnet, and they can put the seat really close to the wheel so that their elbows are bent for the entire journey.

My dream cars would be a red 1965 Mustang convertible or a baby blue Karman Ghia convertible. My actual car is a Volkswagen Golf. Bit of a difference, hey?

Everything from mopeds to the space-shuttle.
To the best of my knowledge women are not restricted in taste, or ability to drive anything that a man can.
It does not matter the brand, or class of transportation there is a woman some place driving one.

I'm currently driving a KA
But when I had the children I prefered a car with four doors- ( safety) ( the KA has only two doors.

Being a woman myself, I love the feel of a great SUV!! I love the power and the ability to sit and look down on the road. I love that I'm able to tow our new boat to lake and cut major cost on using a marina.

I am female and I enjoy driving cars that are PRACTICAL, get good gas mileage, low maintanence, and have good safety ratings.
Right now I am partial to the Suburu Outback.
