There is no wells fargo, however you bank ATM card will work at all local banks. The symbols on the back of you card will match those on the local bank ATM machine. Whether they are Visa, Mastercard, or bank ones like Star or Cirrus.

Don't worry you ATM card will work in El Salvador as mine did. Just make sure if you go to a remote area that you bring cash with you. Most small towns have a bank with ATM machines, but not all do. You won't have a problem in El Salvador, but I doubt you will be spending all your time there.

There are no Wells Fargo Banks in El Salvador.

Most ATMs can be used in El Salvador without a problem, but make sure you have a 4-digit pin as most international ATMs only accept 4-digit pins.

You can go to most banks and get cash there as well.

If your ATM has a Visa or Master Card logo on it, you can also use it as a credit card without a problem.

Yes there is! You can also transfer money through banks, and decide in which city you want it.

How do you think so many Salvadorians send dollars back home?
