I am a huge Steelers fan also, and i would choose either the Seahawks game at Pittsburgh on Sunday Oct. 7, because it is a rematch of the Super Bowl, of course the Browns game on Nov. 11, or if you want to travel to another city to watch, then head to Foxborough on Dec. 9 for the Patriots game. All of those are going to be good, and im going to the Seahawks game, and its going to be crazy! The Bengals game will be good too, thats on Dec. 2, in Pittsburgh. The Bengals and Steelers are the next big rivalry in the NFL.

I'm not sure there is a THE game for the Steelers on the current schedule.
When in doubt, always go with a division rival. In this case, that means the Browns, Bengals or Ravens. Traditionally, no one would care about the Bengals but they are an up and coming, and exciting, young team. On the other hand, the Ravens won the division last year.
Steelers' home schedule isn't particularly exciting. I'd probably prefer the Bengals game if I had to pick one. It's also a Sunday night game, which creates a different atmosphere (although a December night in Pittsburgh might be more atmosphere than you want). :)

If it's a home game you're looking for Dec. 2 with Cincy would be the way to go, it would be possible that could be a most important game for the steelers.
If it's an away game, Dec. 30 at Baltimore isn't a bad bet...once again looking at a conference game and at the end of season.
Both of these games could decide the playoff situation for the steelers.

Monday night against Baltimore or the Home Opener. Actually this being the 75th Anniversary year it is the perfect year. They are going to be wearing the special throwback uniforms for those two games though. The Baltimore game is the big game this year though. Well the home one obviously. They will be dedicating a plaque to 3 Rivers and all.

As a fan and a wife that will let him go to games. he will appreciate any ticket from you.
Avoid the Sunday night late games and monday night games too many drunks.
Sunday games at 1 p.m. are the best

In the division, the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals are also good bets.
Home games are supposedly sold out. Cleveland and Cincy are close by. Better chance getting tickets in Cleveland.

BESIDES WATCHING THE STEELERS OVER THE BROWNS THERE ARE 2 OTHER GAMES WHICH ARE A MUST, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PHYSICAL DEFENSIVE BATTLE YOU SHOULD SEE THE RAVENS AGAINST PITTSBURGH. IF AN EXPLOSIVE OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CINCINNATI WOULD BE THE GAME PLUS THEY ARE THE ONLY COMPETITION IN THE AFC NORTH, NOT TO MENTION A WIN AGAINST THESE TWO TEAMS IS ALWAYS BITTER SWEET.HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO..

It depends on what type of game you want your husband to see, if you want a high scoring, high flying game, you might want to get the tickets against the bengals. But if you want more of a defensive struggle, then you might want want the ravens game. I think your best bet is to get him tickets to the patriots game, the patriots play defense and can score.

There is a great secondary ticket market website for getting what you need.
www.ticketliquidator.com
Also, they have a toll free number to reach people (real people) who can help with game schedules and ticket selections, and what is hot and what is not. 1-800-456-8499...I use it all the time.
As a fore-warning, from my experience, the hotter the rivalry, the more expensive tickets will become for that match.

I'm sorry that you are faced with this problem. I'm sure if you hit your husband over the head with a steel pipe for around three hours his enjoyment of the Steelers---------I'm sorry I just saw the part about husband and Steelers and I thought like most wives in the Pittsburgh area you were ashamed of your hubby. What tickets, to be honest I think you might want to score some superbowel tickets because I think they might be going back. (Noo I'm not from Pa.)
