Nope, Have you heard many men say "she left because i was an @ss"? No, what i hear is she left because she was a b*tch, cheating, on and on with the put downs, but very few admit it could possibly be his fault. Take my husband for example, married twice before, left the first wife because she was a lazy cheater, left the second wife because drum roll please, she was a cheating lazy woman!!! Seems to be a pattern there, but if he would see that he contributed to what happened then maybe he could make things better here. With us, he blames me for everything, if he bangs his head on the cabinet door, that's my fault then he wants to fight all evening because i apparently dont love him. Find a man that can admit he screwed up in his marriage, he will be the one that learned something.

Honey if you think leaving him will make him sorry and take you back and then be good to you, well you are wrong. If a man treats you bad and you leave him, he will give you the pity him story alright. But don't you listen to him, you go back and it's ten times worse. Leave him, and he will just find another woman to be mean too. In the future, always look for that mean streak in a man, and get out quick, or tell him right off you will not stay with him the first signs of meaness.

Well, it seems as if everyone here is in agreement, lol. As for me I have learned several lessons, one of which is love is nothing without having someone to share and experience it with. I'll be the first to say that men change less than women and I've decided to change for the sake of love. If your a religious person ask yourself, "When all is said and done, and I alone stand before god and heaven, and am asked have I loved, lived and lied, have you improved the life of anyone, no matter what the reason?" When I ask or tell myself this, it makes me treate others as human beings and not as slaves or sex objects or whatever.
I used to be in construct, owned my own business, and worked as a private detective and security officer, this was just too much for my wife I never treated a person worse than this in my life and it seemed to get way out of control! Finally she left me....I made the desicion to improve life for others and help them suffer less! I became a CNA and now take care of people with a sense of pride! so yep sure did! I still love her and would like nothing more than to just right the wrongs in her life i've created and if it works great and if not then leave her be, i guess its a matter of personal well being!

Generally speaking, no. They don't learn anything. Anyhow, a woman shouldn't leave a man to teach him a lesson. She should leave him because it's in her own best interest. If the man were truly capable of learning and showed it, then he would have done it before the breakup. Marital breakups should occur when nothing else can be done to improve the situation -- when it's time to move on without him.

No.......and those are the knuckleheads we have the displeasure of meeting time after time in the dating world.
With those guys, it's always the woman's fault.

I am wondering why are you concerned about that?
If you left him, enjoy your life and donot worry about if he has learnt his lesson yet.
