1) I think x= P/20 & y= P / 16
2) The line || to the given equation will be 3x - y + k= 0
Since the line is passing thru the pt.(5,9) .Therefore it will satisfy the equation . Putting the pt. in the equation we get
15-9 + k = 0 => k = -6
Therefore the equation is 3x - y - 6 = 0
3) The equation will be
( y - 6 ) = -2 ( x- 1)
y-6 = -2x +2
2x + y - 8 = 0

Question 1
20x = P - 16y
P = 20x + 16y
P = 4.(5x + 4y)

Question 2
given line has gradient 3
Parallel line also has gradient 3 and passes thro` (5,9)
y - 9 = 3.(x - 5)
y = 3x - 6

Question 3
y - 6 = (-2).(x - 1)
y = - 2x + 8

1)

2)the slope of the given equation is +3 therefore the slope of line || to it is also +3 and the cordinates are (5 ,9)so the equation is y-9=3(x-5)
=y-9=3x-15
=y-3x=-6 therefore ans is 3x-y-6=0
3)equation is y-6=-2(x-1)
=y-6=-2x+2
=2x+y-8=0
