Adrienn Leon got fired because due to a weight problem, because she gained weight, and they thought she was getting fatter.. Tammin Sursok is the new Colleen. Sursok's first tape date is Tuesday, June 26. She will first air on Monday, July 30.

We'll probably never know what the real reason for letting her go was but in any case, I never did like her as Colleen. I hope whomever they hired to be the new Colleen does a better job.

I believe they fired her due to her weight gain which is totally not right. That sends the wrong message to young viewers of the show. It was refreshing to see someone on the show who resembled the average viewer. She was not overweight, she just wasn't the television stick-figure. They didn't even have the decency to tell her in person that she was fired; they waited until she left the studio and called and told her that was her last taping of the show. She is being replaced by a petite little blonde, Tammin Sursok, from Australia who doesn't look like she would be Brad and Traci's daughter.

Rumors suggest it was due to her rapid weight gain.
But I also think that the character of Colleen hasn't been going anywhere in awhile.Firing her,and bringing back a different actress gives the Y&R an oppurtuity to make her character completely different.

Rumors say it was weight. I think those actors have clauses in their contracts to have a certain look. One time Tylo Hunter (Taylor on B&B) was fired from a potential role on Melrose Place because she had gained weight; turns out, she was actually pregnant, but she still got canned because the contract called for a sexy and alluring woman, and with her being preggos, she no longer filled her contract. She tried to sue, but lost. I really think Colleen's weight played a part in her dismissal, for better or worse...

I didn't really know that she was gone for good. I just know that she was really the prettiest girl or lady on there. I did notice that she did carry around a big pouch all the time on her shoulder. But, look at the women on All my Children they all look sick because they are all so little.

It was not her weight! That I can confirm. The reason she got fired was her on fault. She did something illegal and brought it on herself. I don't know if this will ever be brought out but it involved someone else she works with. That's all I'm going to say at this time.

Nothing as been confirmed yet but I heard it has something to do with her attitude behind the scenes, I don't know why everyone is thinking she got fired for her weight. She would be able to sue if that was the case.

We dont know for sure but it sure does seem like it was her weight because the new Colleen is like Lily's size.

I also heard that it was because of her weight. I heard that she packed on the pounds really fast and that it affected her appearance. I hate to say it, but she really doesn't look as good as when she first started. She has lost her sex appeal. And when you are on the number one soap opera, having sex appeal is important.
