Yes. I have. I live very close to Detroit (about a half hour north). Like many big cities it has a bad rap. I think it is a beautiful city. Every time I drive down there I have this feeling of awe. Like driving past the Fox Theater and the State Theater, or past some of the old beautiful churches. It reminds me of stories my Grandmother used to tell me of her childhood. She and my Grandfather grew up downtown. Too bad that isn't the Detroit people get to her about on the evening news.
