The "Weekend Warrior" is usually" Harry Homeowner "in example..doctor, lawyer or just some Yo Yo who only rides on weekends in nice weather. These people may ride motorcycles but certainly are NOT BIKERS, as they seem to like to pretend, and pretend is all they are about. I have been Hard Core " Scooter Trash :" for over 50 years and I find these " Wannabe's " amusing at best, as long as they stay away from me.

One of the Top Selling "Toy Hauler RVs" are called Weekend Warriors. It's a brand name. The back door of the 5th wheel trailer comes down and used as a ramp to pull motorcycles, quads or even rails into the inside. Weekend Warrior is the #1 seller of these RVs. When you go to Dirtbike Meccas such as Glamis or Harley runs such as Sturgis or Laughlin you see nothing but Weekend Warrior RVs

As far as motorcyclist go, Weekend Warrior is some straight laced person (doctor, lawyer, etc) Monday through Friday, then on the weekend, they play like they're a bad-a** biker full time.
medic_30852 has it 100 percent.

It actually has nothing specifically to do with motorcycles, although there are a lot of people who own bikes and only ride on the weekends.

The primary definition of weekend warrior is a military reservist, who serves their time one weekend a month. "a reservist who attends weekend meetings of his or her unit in order to fulfill military obligations."

I've also seen it used to refer to a homeowner, who undertakes remodeling projects on their own, during their weekend time.

Basically, someone who does things (recreationally or otherwise) only on the weekend.

A quick search of "weekend warrior definition" (no quotes) would've hooked you right up. ☺

a lawyer or a doctor , someone like that that wants to live the biker lifestyle only on the weekends.

15,000.00 and 1000 miles dont make you a biker.

either because of social restraints or because of the over all image that people put on being a biker. kinda like wanting to have your cake and eat it too. most of these types are frowned upon by the true bikers who "live to ride and ride to live"
