Eventually, everyone dies. Either by accident, sickness, or sometimes sudden death and at sad times, they are killed. People die when their hearts stop beating. It depends on your religion and belief as to what happens after death.

What are so many religious people doing trying to answer this biology question with mythical beliefs?
Nothing happens after death. People die and unless their bodies are embalmed and buried in airtight caskets, they are consumed by bacteria and other still living entities.
There is no more "why" people die than there is "why" people are born. That's just how it is and how life developed on this planet.
The sense of self people have is likely simply the accumulation of unique memories of individual lives. When the brain cells die, the unique memories are gone forever. People had no "sense of self" before being born and there is none after death.

Death is the opposite of life.
So while there is planning, work, activity, consciousness and wages when alive there is no devising or activity, in the place to which all are going the grave or death.
Much as good things happen to bad people so bad things happen to good people. Yes good and bad people die. Sometimes out of a bad choice, greed, lifestyle, risk taking, being at the wrong place at the wrong time, e.t.c. people die. However, we all die because we are born by imperfect original parents.
Who chose to use their free will for selfish purpose, without recourse to the kind of life they will bequeath to the generations of off-springs after them.
Am very sure this also answer`s the question about life after death, there can`t be life in "life" and "death".

Death is the session and termination of all biological systems that keep the living alive.
We, all living entities, die because that is part of all life. It is unrealistic to assume individuals life goes on forever. There are many reason why people, animals and plants, die.
After death, humans are embalmed, cremated or buried, or left to rot. The body begins a process of decomposition rather quickly. There is no such thing as an after life. When you are gone, you are gone forever.

Death is the permanent end of the life of a biological organism. Death may refer to the end of life as either an event or condition.[1] Many factors can cause or contribute to an organism's death, including predation, disease, habitat destruction, senescence, malnutrition and accidents. The principal causes of death in modern human societies are diseases related to aging. Traditions and beliefs related to death are an important part of human culture, and central to many religions. In medicine, biological details and definitions of death have become increasingly complicated as technology advances.
Inquiry into the evolution of ageing aims to explain why almost all living things weaken and die with age. There is not yet agreement in the scientific community on a single answer. The evolutionary origin of senescence remains one of the fundamental puzzles of biology.

death is the facing of our fears, the truth, the starting of a new life in another place. people die because everyone needs to start again, face their fear of death, and live a better life. After death, well we can't tell you, you just need to wait for a while. that experience will change you, and in heaven you will be different

death is the irreversable ceasing of brain activity.People die because of their sin.The bible says by one mans sin death enters the world. After we die we either go to hell or heaven.ALL roads lead to hell accept the narrow way set forth by Jesus Christ.Sin is breaking Gods 10 commandments,Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, then He rose from the dead 3 days later. If you repent and trust in Christ He will give you the gift of everlasting life. www.needGod.com

Death is a very hard time .I believe that when someone dies they go tho Heaven. Heaven is the best place you can go to. people die because what I think God wanted them for some reason that only God knows. So when someone dies they are going to a better place.
