U did not mention ur specialization..any how my suggetion is that if u wanna do some research and wanna do some good to country..u choose this option..if u want to earn money u just try for some software company..in ur respective field....because in ISRO or some other or organisation u wont get that much money as in Softys..but definitely u will have more job satisfaction...

mechanical engineering deals with machines & its operations.

if u r interested in space studies, the u may take up aeronotical engineering. it is more suitable.
