The only things that are important to me in choosing a lover are;
Does she love me? and
Do I love her?
Everything else is window dressing.....

Research indicates that the first thing they look at,after a preliminary scan to see that he is above average height is the face.Then they track down in a line to you know what and then they go fishing for the other qualities.Of course the subtext to all of this is that they are assessing subconsciously for gene content and fathership potential.Consciously they are then sifting for comparisons,favourable or not to the male parent and assessing qualities of ability to provide,generosity and sense of humour-or as teh phrase they generally use,Regular Guy Material
The Bad News for Shorties like me is that you are disqualified not even at the first conscious hurdle but that you are never in the race.You never get the chance to deploy any other weapons you might have.Stop sniggering at the back.
Oh well,never mind,as I have always been at a loss to know what is the point of them apart from the Obvious and there is an E quivalent in the opposite direction[-We men,[not wee men[] immediately lose interest in a girl's Qualities if she is not pretty and it does not matter what she can do if the face isn't right
I was ashamed of myself recently as i thought I was father material when I was cooing over cute little girls but then a plain overweight five year old girl came by and i was not interested-so my I nterest was limited to appearance as if they were cute cuddly toys
these are very broad Genrelasions of course and in terms of Marriage and Relationships it is much more balanced

one last remark;womne are quite ready to admot the shortness problem but men wont say a mwon isnot pretty

A couple of those aren't even words, but anyway.
It depends on the person. For me, honesty and a good sense of humour are very important. I have to find them attractive, but not necessarily in the conventional sense, and personality can make up for a lot.

Honest, humour and height to a degree I am 5'6" and prefer my dates a couple of inches either way
