I don't think it really matters what day it is....it's more over what time you decide to go. Lunch time, just after work but before 1st supper (5:30-ish) are probably the more busy hours of the day, but in order to be sure what times are busiest for your local PO, try calling the source and asking. They should most definitely know.

Some of the days in December prior to Christmas. Packages and mail. Like Dec. 10 or 12 I think it is and the next busiest days are

Mother's Day mailing
and of course April 14 tax time.
