a guys point of view............endora............i read the answers you have so far and there are a few that seem incredable. i don't share the islamic faith.but i respect his right to worship as he wishes. i have had many people in my life who have inspired me. from jesus to the milkman...i have taken the advise of all who wish to give it to me.but their are few whos advise i put to pratice...i found that we must pick and choose everything from, friends, mates, jobs all the way down to the food we eat...my real inspireation i guess was my 6th grade teacher...mr. lawton...he rode me the whole year.in fact i still owe him about 30 nights detention...lol...i didn't realize what he was doing until years later after he i found out he had passed away.he would teach a bit and then ask questions...he held his hand up and counted backwards,5-4-3-2-1...if you didnt have the answer by the time he got to "o" you had 5 night detention...this i thought seemed rough but, as i got older i found out that the reason he did this was to make me think...and not take all day doing it...lol...he told us stories from when he was in world war two...and the way he had to make snap decisions in a split second...not only for himself, but for the men under his command...i used his advise and teachings throughout my life...and i'm only sorry i never got the chance to thank him face to face...so if you will premit me to do so here...(i'm sure hes looking down now)...mr.lawton, thank you...i see now what you meant when you said "we must rely on one another"...for i wish you could have lived forever to pass on your knoledge to many more who would have benifited by it...thank you...

the prophet Muhammad. he was an excellent character in all aspects of life. he was a humble man who conquered places as far as Austria and Switzerland, through a simple message- Islam.

he proved that Islam is a religion of peace. he made people recognize that in Arabic, the word "Islam" meant SUBMISSION to god, not blow yourselves up for god and make a fool out of all Muslims.
