Don't forget Law and Order. CSI/NY isn;t filmed in NYc. The others are; of course there is NYC Blue, I think that's the name, haven't seen it in ages and it's in re-runs.
Wasn't the show Caroline in the City supposed to take place in NY. Of course Seinfield took place in NYC. Older shows, early I love Lucy took place in NYc.
New York was the cener of TV until it moved to Calif. Then they re-did Silvercup studios and a lot of things moved back to the eaat coast.
Does NJ count as NY, if so, you have the Soprano's as the outdoor sites were in Jersey, but inside was done at Silvercup studios in NYl
