Chill out man, your question is not raciest in the least bit. What you asked is probable thought of by hundreds of thousands of people.

I don't know of a Miss White America contest. I checked the net and could not find anything.

I know that during the past couple of decades what we consider minorities have strived to make their mark both in acceptance, equality, and industry. For many years the people perceived as white ran the movie industry, coorporations, and the like. People considered minorities during those years were struggling to per say "get a fair share of the pie". As the polulations in the different races increased, incomes increased, and popularity and money increased people wanted what they wanted. Blacks wanted to see black movie stars, hispanics wanted hispanic musicians and movie stars. All the races wanted someone representing them in everything. This includes beauty pagents and the like. This is not out of the norm.

What is really unfair and unjust is the general category that other than whites categorize the whites. Irish Americans are completely different from Russian Americans more so than whites are different from hispanics but yet they are categorized as white and belong to the same group. The same applies to the Swedish, German, Scotish, Italian, French, and so on. The whites in general are not allowed to divide themselves up and compete for the minority benefits.

The worst racism in existance is when all the whites are categorized as whites and not what they really are. I didn't realize how sensitive this issue was until I brought it up years ago in college. Just the mere fact of mentioning this created a lot of unrest with the professors and all of them encouraged me not to be a trouble maker and a few mentioned that I was being a racist. All the other monorities could talk about their
dislikes and differences in dealing with what they call "white majority". They could do term papers and everything else but yet as a white, I could not. This same thinking goes on today within state and federal government agencies. Some day we will have the some freedoms and be equal. Our society is not mature enough to realize that this is real and does exist.

It seems the only ones making progree in this area are the females. They are still considered the minority but tend not to break the differences up by pure color except when they are competing with the males.

This is my perception based on some of my experiences and is in no way tended to offend anyone. I am sure others have experiences and strong opinions that differ greatly from mine.

Super great question, it makes one think.

You are technically correct. However, I believe that there was a Miss "White" America contest for years it just excluded the adjective white. A Miss America contest based on what people perceive as beauty is ridiculous anyway whether it would be called Miss White America or Miss Black America. Beauty pageants should be abolished! Beauty is in the eye of the particular beholder. For instance, Mother Teresa was one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen.

I wanna be the first white girl to prove I can be a bigger chigger than you can! It was all about having Community Pride & sepratism from the white world. Now that the New World Order is falling into place....we are all supposed to be EQUAL.

If there are activities singled out, and specifically for black's, thats exceptable, If black's are left out of anything that's racism.
What can you do? Your damned if you do, and damned if you don't.

Here we go again. This is not a question, it's a political statement. It has no place on this site.
