Illusion by itself is good
Truth by itself is good
Living in an illsusion won't make you happy if you know that there is a truth to be known and not know it ....And if truth comes at you hard after you have experienced an awesome illusion will also make you unhappy!!

So given a choice, I'd rather be drunk....and rich

i think that id rather know the truth and be hurt. through pain comes growth and learning which makes us stronger. living in an illusion and being happy is jus a falsified way of living. the question of truth comes into play.... hmmmm

I would rather know the truth. because if you dont know truth than happiness is really the illusion. Because your life is not real. true happiness can only be obtained by living the obstacles that it throws at us, by pain and suffering do we grow and learn, with out it we learn nothing.

I'd rather know the truth then live a lie, the truth might hurt but who ever said life isn't painful? Life can be excruciating sometimes!

i'd rather face the truth. Illusion is nothing - it is a sign of cowardness, and inability to pursue on life. No lies can be permanently hidden - time will be the one to reveal it.

Just as what James Blunt, in "You're Beautiful" said, "..but it's time to face the truth - that I can never be with you."

The truth is what it is, living in a lie might inspire temporary happiness and contentment, but the truth will only hit you harder and shatter you so much worse.
