Four weeks ago yesterday I lost my 12 year old son.
I take each minute as it comes and I pray a lot.

Yes, several. It's ok to have so many thoughts during a time like that. There's no wrong or right way to think or feel. It's just your way of processing the loss. It gets easier over time.

Yes and you don't or should I say can't deal with the thoughts because you never ever get that person back and there is nothing you can do that could have prevented it.

My grandpa died last summer. To deal I usually just layed in my bed and looked at the ceiling and just thought about it or wrote about it.

My sis in law, she past away from cancer in Dec. I was her care giver..I spent a lot of time with her, laying in bed and just talking about her fears and dreams..I watch someone being unborn. Your are born as a baby and grow up to be an adult..I witness an adult going back to being a baby. I watch her being unborn. It was the most rewarding feeling I ever experience. She taught me a lot about death, and how not to be afraid of it. She always said I was her rock. She was my rock. I have beautiful thoughts of her. I am sadden of her death, but the thoughts she left me with will always be with me with fond memories.

My uncle got stabbed to death one night and my dad was down in florida with me talking to the cops about it and my uncle lives in indiana. The way I dealt with it was just thinking of all the happy times or if that doesn't help just think about something differen't that's happy?

Yes, I have lost friends and family.
My mom is very ill.
I tried to stay busy and think that for whatever reason God had it was time for that person to rest.

Both of my parents. It was hard to deal with but, you just remain strong.

Yes...my dad...you deal with it the best way you know how...you continue living your life ...you look forward...but you never forget...you keep their memory alive in your heart...
