You can depending on what type of 2.4Ghz camera you have as there are 2 types!

1) 2.4Ghz Wireless Camera - these are normally regular or spy cameras with a wireless transmitter built in and a seperate reciever. These connect directly to your TV or recorder only via the receiver. This will not connect to a network.

2) 2.4Ghz WiFi - Wireless IP cameras as they are known connect to wireless networks. The camera itself should have an ethernet port on it as well as the wireless antenna. If this is what you have, then this will connect to your network. Install any software provided on your PC before connecting the camera to the network and follow the instructions. If you dont have any, let me know which brand & model number and I can get installation instructions for you. If you didnt get any software with the camera and there is no ethernet / RJ45 port on the camera, it is not an IP cam and cannot connect to the network.

Hope this helps

Well it depends. 2.4 is an unlicensed band meaning it can be used for all sorts of wireless devices. If you camera has an ethernet setup then yes you can connect it to your computer system using an IP...

If it is strictly CCTV then you will need some conversion system to convert CCTV to IP. Or just get an IP based system.

Certainly.

Log into your camera's web interface and give it an IP address which is on the same subnet as your home wireless network (for example, 192.168.0.10 for the camera)

Then, you should be able to go to 192.1.68.0.10 on your PC and view the camera from there.
