that depends if your eating. Its OK to start drinking at noon if you are doing a BBQ or something because its the law that you have to have a beer in your hand while standing by a BBQ. If not then you should wait until lunch time, then you can keep drinking right through the afternoon / Evening / Night / Morning

Well if it makes you feel better i opened my pub at 9:30 this morning and have already kicked out two blokes for being to drunk.... now I'm on a break!
So go ahead, have a beer, just remember to drink responsibly tho!

Some may think it civilised to wait until midday, but if it is a special occasion or you are having a Champagne breakfast then an exception is in order. Enjoy

Well, I'm in Spain, and its 12:40, and its late Saturday night in Australia. And somewhere, always, it is the cocktail hour. So it's all a matter of perspective.
