ive been working night shift and been studying for exams. my face has broken out a bit but im due to have a period in a week. i've felt really tired during the day but seem to have more energy at night. do you think that this is due to exam stress and cos my body clock may be different due to working night shift or could it be something else??

Yeah, It could be stress. Plus if u r working and studying at the same time u might not be resting as u should. Take at least one day of rest.

I've worked nights for 6 years. You body is naturally on a day shift schedule. Working nights takes a toll on many people. Studies have shown that night shifters start getting health problems such as high bp and high cholesterol. The more energy during nights is due to your body trying to regulate itself.
Though school is hard also.
I'm betting it's a combination of both. Remember to take care of Yourself. Good luck.

i'd say you hit the nail on the head. do some deep breathing exercises ( breath in for 3 seconds, hold for 2 seconds and breath out for 3 seconds) do this until you feel yourself relax. stress makes you breath shallow and toxins build up in the blood, breathing exercises helps get more oxygen in the blood
