I've never done this before, I have a back problem and circulation proble but I have to get to L.A. before the end of next week so I can go back to my doctor that specializes in my condition, plus attend an important event. I was originally going to fly to L.A. but because I don't have a passport yet and can't get one because my BIRTH certificate is in California *funny right, it's a long story, it was a family disagreement that caused me to get stuck in Georgia, they're against me doing music for a living and tried to stop me* I'm going to have to take a bus

says it's going to be 1 day and 22 hours long...I'm also moving so this is going to be tough. How much can i take with me? Can people eat on the bus? Will there be air conditioning because I have trouble tolerating heat. Do they provide any water on the bus or do I have to get my own?
What kind of food can you get at stops offs? I have a special diet and I usually don't do well on junk foods. and Do I have to sleep sitting up?

edit: passport/state ID/some form of government certified identifcation. or whatever is what they said i needed to get on a plane you'd think social security numbers would be enough and all i have is my high school id and the airlines won't take it, i can't wait 2 or more weeks for another copy of my birth certificate to get to me either.I also don't have a drivers license since my spinal condition stops me from driving etc etc

It will probably be 2 days of pure, stinky, hell. I do recommend taking a copy of the book NAKED by David Sedaris with you. It's really funny and in some of the stories he documents his travels on a greyhound bus. At least you can laugh...

Long greyhound bus rides are scary/can be scary people on board. But they like to stop at gas stations/fast food restaurants. So only the finest possible cuisine - beef jerky and the like. Good luck!
