OK

Often the sensor malfunction recheck the sensors, clean the contacts. Most bnew brake sets come with new sensors.

But that is making the assumption that we are refering to the proper warning light. Check your manual. and make sure we are not talking ABS or Parking brake. I have seen a number of people change the wrong brakes.

Replace the affected sensor(s) some time the wire just gets worn into a little by the rotor that is all it takes (B) light is on. I know looks like you could just unplug them that does not work Each sensor has two wires and the rotor wearing into the wires completes the circuit light on. On some cars you will have to replace one each rear and front. Good Luck I remember how annoying those sensors were.. Other than BMW have you tired BMP incorporated located in of all places Tyler Texas there cost on rotors pads brake parts are great!

If you resurfaced the rotors on your bmw you will probably experience more shaking when braking in the near future. If you are having any problems when your brakes are applied on your bmw I would suggest factory grade brake pads, premium grade brake rotors and new sensors. Don't forget to check the rear brakes!!!! As for the sensor light, when you're done with the job, turn off the ign key and then turn the ign key back on (not starting engine) and wait about 5 min. the light should go off and stay off.

Usually, once you install the sensors, you cannot remove and reinstall them again because they fused themselves onto the pads over time (and with the heat and all). They're probably somehow loose and touching the brake rotors. They're cheap anyway ($10). Buy some new ones.

Now, you didn't mention your brake PADS... are they really still okay?
