When they cheat...When they abuse... When they start to only worry about themselves.... When they grossly disrespect you. All these things will eventualy kill love.

With so many definitions of the word love, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is you're stopping. You could put an end to:
1. a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties.
2. affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests .
3. warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion.
or
4. unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another.
Whichever one it may be, only you can decide when it is time. Though countless numbers of people may try to tell you when to stop loving someone, it is in YOU to know, say and feel when the tie (of love) is broken.
You may hear, "when they don't love you back", or "when they've done you wrong", but think about that for a moment.
Have you considered that the bond of love that a person shares with you may be different from the bond of love that you consider to have for them?
Have you never inadvertently 'done someone wrong'?
What if they decided to break their ties (of love) with you for no other reason than you not saying "hello"?
Different people have different love. If you feel you must stop loving someone, it has to come from you. Otherwise, you have someone else's feelings about love clouding your own.
I leave you with this:
"to err is human, but forgiveness is divine."

I don't think you could stop loving someone on some level, you might not like them anymore, even hate them but on some level you still have love feelings for them, assuming you truly loved them in the first place.

l dont think you stop loving someone, you just stop thinking of them in a special way like before then the love just fades and goes to the background Love is deep we live to share it...

I wish I could just turn it off...it would be SO much easier that way!!
It does fade...I can say that I still think of my first boyfriend fondly from 15 plus years ago. However, I don't have that deep yearning to be with him anymore.
I certainly knew when I needed to end that relationship--when we couldn't resolve our differences because we were not compatible.

When they start to love you back. Your feelings change because you love that person before they love you and people in love change.
