Never!!! Why would I care? They don't feed me. They don't help me in all my troubles. People who does say behind a person's back are those with low level of education because if they are not, they don't dare say anything as they could commit mistakes too. In short, these are the very people who only watch other's mistakes without looking into themselve's misdeeds.

Not at all. I even encourage people (personal and professional) that if they can't confront me, then feel free to talk about me behind my back if it will help them feel better. It helps to get the anger out, but I believe in confrontation myself-as in "I'm mad as hell, and we need to sort it out". It works well for me, but I also keep an open mind when someone is mad at me, and I try to resolve it. Oh, confrontation = talking/ranting.

I wouldn't let it ruin my day. I'll just lose all respect of the people who are nice in my face and the exact opposite behind my back.

Yes I care - but if they talk about you behind your back - it means they aren't brave enough to talk to you about it.

It depends who is doing the talking and what the potential consequences of that gossip could be for my life. I guess it's all relative....

No, usually I don't. I can block myself from negative things, such as gossip or something like that. I don't care, I don't care and again - I DON'T CARE! :)
