I want to use my laptop for very casual gamning (no desktop for me, please do not mention). I cant decide which one i should purchase, the 7600 has better benchmarks but does not support dx10. Are the specs for the 8400 low enough to make a difference between the two for laptop gaming?

ive seem the notebookcheck.com website before but that didnt answer how much a difference it would make for playing games, if its a difference that i could only tell if i was looking at the two at the same time then its not a big deal.

The difference in benchmarks here on 3D Mark 06 is quite significant:

GF Go 7600 is #26 on the list and 8400GS is #37.

They are about the same.....what you need to determine is which one has the bigger hard drive and better processor......the graphics is almost secondary when it comes to laptops. But get the one with the most memory.
