I've heard that estrogen is effective for stopping unwanted erections. Is this true, and if so are there any side effects, such as a more feminine appearance or loss of muscle mass? Can I acquire this drug without having to consult a doctor? And can the medication be reversed quickly, i.e. if I do want to achieve an erection?

Brandi, relax for a second. I sware I have been in your shoes and the thing you have to remember right now is it will get better. It will. I think you need a prescription, my $ was very tight too but I did go to a doc. and get xanyx....it is really cheap and does the trick....takes the edge off, and I know you know what I mean. If you have no insurance they should have some arrangement where it will not cost you. I know a ton of people won't like that I suggested that but the herbal remedies don't do squat and are a huge waste of $. Try to look at things this way, it isn't going to get any harder than this and if you can make it through this do not spare the pats on your back that you will have earned. It will get better......good luck.

Fiurst off, no erection should be unwanted. When you are young and healthy you shoudl be celebrating every erection no matter where it pops up. Plain fact is when you are older, you are goign to be working really hard to get erections when you do want them and at some point in life they are nto going to happen at all. So, instead of tryignt o stop erections or hide them, be happy you get each one and let it show if tha tis what it wants to do.

To be honest the only really useful drugs are the PDE5 inhibitors, Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. Good news Viagra can be bought over the counter in Boot's, BUT you have to have a consultation with the pharmacists. There are also some online pharmacies that employ qualified and registered doctors, who after an online 'consultation' provide a script that is then honoured by that pharmacy.

If you are getting unwanted erections I'd recommend a closer fitting underwear and looser trousers to make them less noticeable.

Taking female hormones unneccessarily is dangerous to say the least. The fact that you are considering taking medication to counteract one problem - to them only reverse its effects with another drug shows that you have not thought this 'problem' through properly and should seek more professional advice.

Estrogen is not safe, especially if you are the adolescent I believe you to be.

There are better ways to stop your "unwanted" erections, as mentioned by many posters here. Take matters into your own hands, get a girlfriend, or think about baseball statistics. Stay away from hormones, other than those you already have.

Un wanted erections are due to the condition of the mind, the deep subconsciuous mind works.Constant reading of porno, viewing XXX videos etc creates such a condition.Controlling your mind, changing your reading habits, thinking etc are only needed.Washing penis with cool water frequently or atleast morning and evening is good.

Estrogen ..being a hormone I would not suggest you mess around with. ...Yes it will make you more feminine in appearance and may even make you grow breasts and lose muscle mass; neither is it available non -prescription. If you mess with hormones you could cause yourself myriads of troubles including cancers and hormones are not quickly reversible either. I don't know of anything on the market that will prevent unwanted erections. Try wearing looser clothing and positioning yourself in your clothing so as to be more discreet.
