Weather is determined by many changeable factors, more so in the UK than most places. This makes forecasting difficult at the best of times and even more so when looking anything more than a few days ahead.
As things stand at the moment it looks like the Azores high will build to the south / southwest of the UK in early July and this will lead to a period of unsettled showery weather with temperatures and sunshine pegged back below the seasonal average for the south of the UK but closer to normal in the north.
Into the second week of July it looks like the Azores high will push northwards over the UK bringing with it some dry, fine and settled conditions for southern Britain but less setled in the north.
So for now, it looks like the 7th to 10th July will be reasonably warm and dry in southern Britain but keep an eye on the weather forecasts...

According to Old Moores Almanack 2007
July
After a series of thunder storms in many parts, hot summer days can be expected by mid-month. The second half of July should be mainly sunny, but there may be an occasional downpour.
August
A sunny month. Very high temperatures and almost windless conditions are in store for most of britain. In some western parts and the far north the weather will be cooler and changeable.
September
Apart from some thundery rain early on, the month will be drier than average, with pleasant late summer days(especially in the south). At the close, some gales can be expected in the north.
October
An indian summer prevails, especially from the midlands southwards, but there will be extensive mist or fog during nights and mornings. Late month sees wet and windy conditions.
November
The first part of this month may turn out to be much drier and milder than average, with a generous amount of sunshine. The second half, however, will see less settled conditions.
December
Winter will truly set in this month. At first it will be dry, with little or no wind, especially in the south, but then a sharp east wind will build up. Snow can be expected at the close.

The best supercomputers in the world can only predict the weather systems for a 1 week or so.
If spring has arrive a week earlier does it mean summer will arrive a week later?
