I keep mine closed most of the time, my windows face the street, so I never know when some "Peeping Tom" will stop by.

Most of the time mine are closed but that's to keep parts of the house cooler during the summer. I prefer to have mine open if I can.

closed at night with the drapes over them. during the day i have the blinds open some to let the sun in

mine's are always open in the daytime and closed in the nighttime. I have to have sunlight shining through the house. if not, I feel like a vampire.
