High on a hill on Yorkshire, Northern England...

Dry, bright and generally overcast but steadily improving.

About 90% cloud cover allowing some sun through, cloud base about 1500 metres and rising allowing the cloud to break as it does bringing more sunshine. Visibility is excellent - in excess of 64km. Humidity low - about 30%, moderately breezy with the odd gust now and then, temp currently 18.1 Celsius. Conditions improving.

Forecast was for rain but it's the invisible dry rain that is often forecast.
