Ok lately my breast are tender to the touch and my period is around the corner. When my nipples arent hard they seem a little inward. But come out real quick when colded or touched. Im 18 years old and never had such a thing. But most the time its not inward just that once or twice that I noticed. Is it anything to be really alarmed with. Since inward nipples is associated with signs of breast cancer?

It's normal for the breasts to be tender to the touch in time just before your period comes. For those that use the pill for medical reasons like I do can have breast tenderness as well and what I did to help contend with that is just get a bigger size bra.

I would recommend that because of the concern about the nipple turning inward that you get in touch with your dr to have them evaluate the situation further.

This is really normal, breasts often get tender around that time of the month, and also at any random times when ure still developing. Inward nipples are also normal, but as you haven't had them all your life, this could be a sign of breast cancer, its important you go and get a check at your doctors, good luck :)

Have you examined your breasts by checking for lumps? Also If you know for a fact that you are not pregnant and you have tender breasts you may be consuming too much caffeine. Try cutting down on sodas and coffee. But you should still go to your doctor.

Breasts are always more tender around "period" time and they "pout" when cold or stimulated.....it seems that you may be becoming sexually excited without realizing it, but it wouldn't hurt to check with your regular doctor if you are really concerned....

Well if your concerned that this could be cancer, it wouldnt hurt going to your doctor and finding out, would it? Its better to be safe than sorry.
