Both systems have their positive and negatives.
But PC wins out because it's more universal.
I work with Macs at my job everyday because I'm a production artist and I still prefer PCs...lol.

PC. I don't care if Macs don't get viruses or all this crap. As long as you have a good anti-virus/anti-spyware/firewall, you should be good. Plus, Macs are too hard to figure out.

Well for me i like both.
But it all depends what you will use it for.
PC - Gaming, more apps, viruses, MP3 and all that
Mac - Picture editing, Artistic stuff, WoW, HD videos, no virsues etc.
