Well to start I do not see how that could be something that tunnels underground... the legs are far too long for such. They might den underground but not tunnel. (animals that tunnel have to have short legs)

By the skull alone I would say that it is an opossum. The dental pattern is correct and the sagittal crest looks to be that of an opossum. It does look a bit off (the crest), but it might be the angle of the photo.

As far as your list goes what throws me off is the running on two legs, there really are no quadraped animals that do that. Opossums being one of them. I have seen them walk on two legs but never run.

Also, if they have been close enough to you to attack and bite you why do you only have photos of them dead. Or better yet how do you not know what they are if you have seen them alive. Even more, what the heck were you doing that you could get close enough for it to attack you?

If you are really worried about it why do you not call wild animal control or a pest control company.

by looking at the skeleton it appears to be some kind of canine or rodent ...no need to be afraid of .... u said that they are living in tunnels ... let them be there ... forget about those creatures as there are no past records of such animals attacking humans ...
