Would you vote for Joe Liebermen for President if he ran as an Independent?

I think he'd make a great running mate if Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination. That would be about the only combination I can see that would win the Whitehouse, no matter who the democrats field.
If Ron Paul doesn't win the Republican nod, then Paul and Liebermen could still enter the race on an Independent ticket. Unfortunately though, that would probably only serve the interests of the GOP, as it would wind up fracturing the Democratic vote and virtually assuring a GOP win.
Both Ron Pual and Joe Lieberman are Independent thinkers. They don't fit into either the Liberal or Conservative molds very well. Middle of the road moderates. Who cares what party pin they wear on their lapel.

He is an honest man who generally tells it the way it is. I like him as an independent but he will never win. The Christian right would make him convert to be a Born Again and the Muslims would go crazy and try to knock him off. He would not convert to either Christianity or the Islamic faith. He is an orthodox Jew and this will kill all chances for a top job in America. Perhaps he should change his name to Tim Brown and paint his face black. Jackson would immediately support him and so would Wrangle and Reverend Big Mouth from New York. I do not like everything that Joe has done but in my book he is one of the "honest" ones in Washington and I would trust him.

I told my friend I like Lieberman, but he can't win. He's Jewish and with the problem in the middle east, peple would be afraid of how the Muslims would interpret it. Some of them already believe AMerica is owned by the jews as it is.

Lieberman pretty much destroyed his hope a week ago. He advocated an attack on Iran.
