if i have to divide 30x^2 to 20x i have to do gcf rite? but how do i wrte down the answer? is it 2X over 3x?

First, you divide "by" a term, not "to" a term. These are not polynomials, so you are just looking for the gcf to divide from each term. You can divide by numerator and denominator by 10x. This leaves 3x/2 as the result. At least on my planet.

(30x^2)/(20x) =
(30/20)(x^2/x) =
(3/2)(x/1) =
3x/2

if you mean
. . . 20x / 30x^2 = 2 / 3x
. .
or
if you mean
. . . 30x^2 / 20x = 3x/2

30x^2 divide both side by 5
---------= 6x^2
20x -------------= 3x
4x ------
