I'll have to go with Spider-Man. While he may not be the strongest, fastest, or most powerful, Spider-Man may be the most human. By that, I mean that he is the easiest to relate to, because unlike a lot of other superheroes, Spider-Man is always dealing with the mundane problems of real life, & they are always complicating his attempts to do good in the world. What other superhero have you seen who has to take care of sick relatives, keep up with his school work & job, try to stretch his finances to make ends meet, work through marital complications, & still manages to fight crime? Really, the only part of Spider-Man which may be unbelievable (aside from the obvious parts of any superhero comic) is the fact that Peter Parker, nerd extraordinare, is married to an unbelievably hot supermodel/actress, & even that has been written plausibly. Even with as much as people like Bendis have tried to screw with this character with storylines like Avengers:Disassembled, The Other, & Civil War, Spider-Man is still my favorite superhero of all time. I only hope Marvel somehow repairs the damage they've done with the unmasking. This, along with the stingers in the arms, is pretty stupid.
