It's called incest and a taboo in almost any society. However, there are exceptions. In the victorian age cousins would often marry to keep the wealth and power in the family. This would often lead to complications in pregnancy and conception of an heir. Back then any child out of wedlock would be shunned as well as the woman and family. The father of the child usually would stay in society. Now, if a father and his daughter committed incest and a child was born, the family, father, daughter, and child would all be shunned from the ton and would have to move away because of the scandal. If the daughter had the child away from the ton, the father could try to pass it off as his own child. It would become extremely confusing and in the end the scandal would most likely still come out.

What repercussions would those be? 'Acid' refers to a spectrum of substance from 'mildly tart' to 'turn you to goo', and the human body uses a few of them. What's a free H+ between friends anyways?

I'm not sure of any repercussions. It means acid and I'm sure the science community would rename it if found different.

Never thought about it till you mentiond it. I will as we speak, put that on my list of things to check out. The list only has 131 things on it so I should be able to get back to you on this in this decade, unless something more important comes up. I promise you though. I will get to it.
