polls and surveys: parks and lakes? do you ever go? what do you do there anyways? so do tell please?

Parks I usually just walk through, maybe set down a while and watch what all of the other people are doing. Watch the little kids play and laugh.

I do pretty much the same at the lake. Sometimes though I go out fishing, or just for a boat ride. I love the tranquility of the lake at sunset and just before sunrise.

Parks and lakes are great. I enjoy spending a lot of time in parks and near lakes. Often, at the park, I will go for a nice relaxing walk with someone whose company I can enjoy so that we have the opportunity for some great conversation. Lakes are most fun if you own a boat but there is still plenty to do if you cannot afford that luxury. I enjoy sunbathing, swimming and exploring new areas. I also love jet skiing, boating, etc.

North shore of Lake Erie, Georgian Bay, Lake Nippissing, west shore of Lake Huron. Sun, sand, surf. Beer, babes and BBQ. I live in a park, it was the original property owners house. Miles of walking trails and a stream.

I don't really have any lakes in my area...there's a park/playground/pond up the street from my house, but I never go there. I used to take walks there now and then...not anymore.

Picnics, play frisbee and/or catch, have a treasure hunt, roll in the grass (if no dogs have visited, ha ha), find pictures in the clouds, go fishing, play in the sprinklers, etc etc................. my dad used to make us a swimming hole in the river in the summer (with a bulldozer). There's lots to do.
