he does not want to wear a condom, and cannot use his insurance because it's a catholic affiliation like St. Francis. They also refuse to give him a referral , it is against their policy. He cannot switch plans at this time because it is not allowed. It cost about 2,000. He also does not seem very enthused about getting this procedure and hesitated before. I cannot take birth control pills, I'm 45, it's too risky. Will our relationship survive. Am I supposed to live a life without sex or affection. In every other way he is a good, responsible, reliable man. He is also been very loyal to me so far. We have been together for 6 years.

This is almost funny. He is using EVERY excuse (love the religious touch...) in the book to not touch you...and he's your fiance, why??
Dump this wanna-be-priest and find a man who can staisfy you!

well there are a lot of options for birth control that aren't risky ask your doc about IUD or depo or something more reliable than the pill you could take the patch the pill or IUD and use a diaphragm with spermicide to be on the safe side it just depend on how bad you guys want to have sex!

Use spermicide, you can pick a pack up from any drug store. You just insert them and let it sit in you for about 15 minutes to dissolve and then handle you sexual business. It's also actually very pleasurable for the man, because the stuff melts and gets really really warm and wet.

I know that sounds a little vulgar but it's true.

Good Luck!

YOU can be responsible for birth control- IUD, diaphragm, spermicides, sponge or get your tubes tied.

Beyond that is a bigger issue- he "doesn't want to use condoms" so is willing to go without???? How bout erectile dysfunction he doesn't want to discuss?Or lack of sexual feelings? I would guess there is a bigger issue here than birth control. Decide if you can handle it the way it is or get out!

an accident? what sort of accident? and what has insurance got to do with your feelings? he needs to look at him self and realize that he is being extremely selfish. Procedure ? I'm assuming a vasectomy? you both need to really sit down and talk this out if it means breaking the relationship then so be it it is obvious that he does not consider your feelings

You should feel blessed that you have found such a wonderful man who has good self control of himself. You have already waited six years, why not just wait a bit more?
Respect his wishes. Anyway, abstinence from sex before marriage is a blessing itself.

GOOD FOR HIM! You ought to be very happy that your man knows how to wait for the right moment, and to not risk ruining a good thing.
