The mother and the father of the child...what are you talking about...birth parents...everyone else is just a good friend.

All parents are responsible for child maintenance, they brought the child into the world, so both should take responsibility for their actions, this ex should get off his *ss and get a job to support this child in every way he can.
The only exception to this is if the mother has refused any help whatsoever and doesn't want anything to do with the child's father.

The biological parents are the ONLY ones LEGALLY responsible for child maintenance.

Think of your children. Dont make it a bitter relationship between yourself and your ex. Do what you can to make your children happy and just pay the child support it is not that much and it will make your childrens lives much better

You are responsible for the support of your children, if you have them or you don't have them.
