Most of the lemmings don't get the PC is simply being polite and respectful. And as you pointed out, most of us learned this as children from our patents. Or maybe just us so called liberals without values learned it from our immoral parents...

Liberals are the embodiment of P.C. and they tend to be very intolerant of peple who aren't. The punishment for not being P.C. is, most commonly, social alienation from mainstream society. People who are politically incorrect are singled out and labeled as rude, when in fact many (including myself) simply prefer to stand up for what they believe in rather than blindly jumping on the bandwagon just because everyone else has.

The term "political correctness" is said to derive from Marxist-Leninist vocabulary to describe the "party line".
University of Pennsylvania professor Alan Charles Kors and lawyer Harvey A. Silverglate, connect political correctness to the ideas of marxist Herbert Marcuse, in particular his claim that liberal ideas of free speech were in fact repressive

I think we differ on what is meant by free speech. PC is an infringement on free speech.
The consequences have been very severe for some.
Being kind cannot be compelled from outside a person.

Stupid Question!!! The liberals have to fully consider every remark they make about anyone. It could offend some group or person they are trying to pander to. They will need a very large group of degenerates to vote for them in the next election.

Actually that was the cartoon character, Thumper, the baby rabbit was told this by his mother. Not sure, but I think this was in the children's movie, called Bambi. "If you can not say something nice, do not say anything at all".

PC is NOT saying the reality but instead saying what liberals THINK should be said or what they perceive we want to hear.
Republicans say what we mean and mean what we say.
In both cases...RUDENESS is just plain rudeness and that is NEVER acceptable.
