How much would it cost to fly a family of 5 people (4 adults + 1 teenager) to England, Ireland, or Scotland and stay at a hotel, eat out, and go on tours and what-not? I am most interested in Ireland. Say we stayed for 7 days, had a pretty nice hotel, walked around, went to a few museums and on some trails. I know it's hard to figure but I've just been searching and searching and I really haven't been given a price. I appreciate your help =] Hey, anyone ever been to these places? What do you think of them?

Start by going to this site;

Note that they show $499 as an advertised price for a London trip and hotel but that's just from NYC. By the time you add on for taxes and extra $$$ for your actual departure city, the price will increase but press on and review the many deals they offer.

There's no way that airfare0/hotel should run you more than $1000 per person, meals are extra. Some of the hotels offer a light breakfast.

Once you start reviewing this site, you will find the same kinds of deals to Scotland and Ireland or, alternatively, you can go to those areas from London. Hotel rooms are available at under $100 USD for two, but just keep hunting away on the site and you'll be amazed.

This outfit allows you to "add" extra days should you want to stay for an extra week or two so that you can explore the UK on your own. You only have to select your return date in advance. This will get you to their Ireland page

As the other answerer says, ask for a packet price.
This is likely to be about the same as when you do your own organizing.
You can get a better price yourself, but it is a good indication. If you can not afford the pack price, look into cheaper lodgings.

If the pack does not have dinners included, count on $30 to $50 per person a meal, $15 to $30 per person for lunch.
Museums can be anything from free upwards, so go to a website of several you are interested in.
