I just bought The above mentioned bike, it's in near perfect mechanical shape, and not shabby cosmeticly either, I'm looking to make the bike 'mine' though. Any ideas on customization? Nothing extreme, just something simple that people can tell isn't quite standard?

I wouldn't recommend it really. Those bikes aren't really nice to customize, and you'll completely kill the resale value on it if you start making changes.

But for basics, you can get a windshield for it, or put a back rest and luggage rack on it. Might be hard to find accessories for those bikes already though. You could always get a custom paint scheme on the tank and side panels.

i know this bike well, they look very nice with a front end chop, perhaps just 2 or 3 inches over just a little rake. also a king and queen seat is a nice finishing touch. this was a very popular look when the bike was new
